Popped over to TPS last week, really happy with how the car has turned out! Undecided on boot carpet at the moment, but I'll work that out when the car is back on the road.

Went for a Koyo N-Flo from the US as I couldn't find any UK stock and a Mishimoto fan/ shroud kit. I know the fans aren't as good as stock, but they would have looked crap in the bay lol. The car is done at TPS now except final touches - next over to SAS at the end of the week to sort out the Treadstone intercooler kit. Nearly there - not long until mapping now!

Will be mega interesting to see how the G30 performs on the 13b.

Keep it up....how soon before its fully up and running?

Yeah I'm looking forward to it! Mapping is booked for this Saturday and the car is currently at SAS for the final fab bits. I'll hopefully get a dragy run at the weekend if all goes well

Finally got some results! We had an issue with the wastegate springs, and with the spares we could only run up to 14 psi. It made 415 to the flywheel at 13 psi. Going back 19th Aug with a different spring combo for more boost and some colder plugs, as it started to break up a little. Results are with vpower 99 octane fuel and 50:50 water/meth mix.

Was able to drive it back from the rollers and I'm happy to say the least :). Was worried it would be too loud with just a backbox, but the G series seems to quieten things down a lot - definitely need ear plugs for the external gate though lol.

Massive thanks to The Performance Shop, SAS Autoworks & Marco so far - excited for the next session!

Next update!

We took the car back to Marco for more boost after TPS fitted colder plugs, but unfortunately the car didn't want to hold any more than 1 bar! Marco reckons that's all the turbo could flow... Slightly strange as we expected the turbo to do better and we were hoping to run 1.3/1.4 bar. I also need to calibrate the turbo speed gauge, as I'm curious to see where the turbo is at. Final results holding 1 bar boost:

Took the car out for a few test runs - there's definitely improvement to be made given the slope and shifting faster. Happy with the way the car drives though, it picks up very quickly yet doesn't blow the tyres off!

It is a very respectable time for a G30 -770 1.01 AR. If Marco asked for more boost and the turbo couldn't make anymore means you are maxxed out. It must feel amazing to run a 8.40 considering you were running in the 11s a little while ago! It must feel like a different car eh?! Thats a huge improvement!

The corrected time would be 8.12 if the slope is eliminated to a flat slope. Nearly 3 tenths faster!
