Pip reckons squeeze a bit more once clutch is sorted injectors were only on 80% duty for the 298 run. I'm actually surprised how much it's transformed the car pulls so much harder now as long as you stay in 1st to 3rd.

I remember the same experience well, a mapped pfc really transforms an fd from a quick car to very capable supercar chaser.

Yeah I was actually very shocked how well it pulled. Looking forward to getting a lightened fly and new clutch now so I can give it a proper test. Let off some nice bangs and im sure i could see a few cheeky flames aswell for max JDM points

Love very fd mate and the PFC seems to have done the trick! 👍🏻

Did you sell the 34 when prices were high? They are mentalnright now for a 34 GTR!

Lovely 32 aswel btw, looked lovely! 😎

Not as high as I'd like but still made a tidy profit on it. Your right though prices have gone literally insane now especially on r34s. It's basically impossible to take a loss on a skyline gtr these days. If you can afford to buy a few 34s now and sit on them for a few years it would be the best investment you ever make. As soon as they become legal in the US they will sell for a absolute fortune it's the forbidden fruit they have never been allowed lol. Especially rare models like the v spec ii nur's etc prices are predicted to hit 100k

Have you seen a chap called Richard wheeler, I think his name is the anyway, last count I think he has 11 34 GTR’s 😂😂 insane! But amazing as if you have the money then why the hell not! I would lol

I was going to buy a friends 32 GTR afr around 8k 4 years ago, that alone would be nigh on 20k now I reckon. I would have loved a 34 but no chance now. It’s the same with nsx’s, 5 years ago you could grab one for low-mid 20’s,, now no chance lol

Any pictures of the 34 buddy?..

The name certainly rings a bell. While the r34 is an amazing car it's overrated in my opinion. The r32 is my favourite it gives more driver feed back and is the one to go for. it's lighter, more mechanical and if you get a early n1 block it had thicker castings. Plus the 32 all you have to do is wire a switch into the 4wd fuse and you can deactivate the 4wd so at the flick of a switch you can stop the fronts kicking in and stay rwd :D and flick is back to go 4wd again lol. That been said though the r34 is guaranteed to make you rich as an investment as that's the one the yanks really want lol.

I’m the same, prefer the 32 over the 34, but you would certainly be happy if you had the 34 still now Hahahah..

How are you enjoying the fd?..

Don't bother!

Nice work on the mapping bro, Pips a great guy and really helpful

Yeah he seems a really nice bloke he put up with all my questions and there was a lot lol. I'm hoping to get back there next week to finish the tune. Just waiting on new clutch, flywheel and counter wight.

Don't get me wrong id love to have possession of a r34 now for obvious reasons but i probably wont have a another skyline now they are great cars but prices have gone silly.
I must admit i am in love with the FD they sound like nothing else on the road and they have a truly timeless body lines. They wouldn't look to out of place in today's market if you ask me. I've never been so shocked by 280ish hp it actually feels pretty damn quick as it is lol. Cant wait to get her built up to 400+ single

Be interested to know how the HSD Monopros handle wise especially with the damping. What turbo do you plan to go for when you go single? An EFR range I presume? I guess with the hardware now available in the UK it would be hard not to go for the best!

I've had a few sets of monpros before and they have always been excellent. Although never on a fd so guess time will tell. I'll give them a review once I've had them on for a while. From past experience on other cars they perform extremely well for a sub £1000 coilover. If your looking for serious racing setup you would want to spend more. I'm not looking to set lap records though I just like to have a some fun on track and street have a nice handling car.

Turbo wise I am going to run a efr 8374 as I have seen some very good results on fd's and have used one myself on a gtr with great results was making full boost by 4k and didn't tail off at all.

Don't know how I missed this. Another local FD. never seen so many.

Nice stack of parts already. Look forward to the progress.

Nice one on the new parts. I was going to try the HSD’s but settled with meister R CRD’s instead.

Lots of people say the HSD’s are good on the fd 👍🏻

Tidy looking RX7, just read threw it all there, your certainly not hanging back with modding the fd so i'll be following to see how you get on, hope all goes to plan next week!
That 32 though
