Wet Carpet

I have water coming in on the passenger side foot well.

No air con fitted so little pipe on the passenger side not leaking or the heater not leaking.

Water only comes in when raining heavy, and I like to drive it at weekends even in the winter so this is a pain in the arse.

The two drain points on either side front that you can see from above seem to be working, is there any other front drain pipes under
there somewhere hiding that could be blocked that I can not see ?

I hosed it down with a lot of water during the week and today there is water inside but I can not see where it is coming from. any thoughts.

Do you have a hole in your door seals mate? My drivers door seal was torn at the top where I broke in before, water was getting in then filling the door jams and spilling into the footwell!

Door seals are all good mate from what I can see, I hate chasing water had a Boxster and was looking for leaks for months.

Think I will take the scuttle thing off at the bottom of the window and see whats in there.

I took the scuttle thing of at the bottom of the window and got the spawn of satin to hold a hose in there while I squeezed my fat body under the foot well, ( any one would think I asked for a Sat afternoon Blow Job they way she moaned about holding a poxy hose for 5 mins)

water was pissing in but I can not see where it is coming in from.

Any idea how it would leak from inside the drainage area below the windscreen an how to stop it.

Will most likely be the scuttle panel fixing receivers, remove the wipers and scuttle panel then reseat them in their holes with some decent silicone. It drips down into the blower.

@Ceylon I removed the wipers and Scuttle panel and had a hose on in the drainage channel under the scuttle panel and thats when the water poured in.

Is there any other drainage under the Scuttle Panel ?

Eventually got around to fixing this @Ceylon was spot on it was the scuttle panel fixing receivers, just been for a long
drive in the pouring rain and the mastic has done the job.

Just been out to collect the carpet for the car and its pissing down, water now under passenger seat, seen water dripping down
from behind the rear seat door card panel right at the bottom. wtf

Front of car is now completely dry, so from one leak to another.
