Spark plugs

Ignition and fuel are vital. Spend a large amount of time in these areas especially if you are going above 450hp. Upgrade coils is a must really.

Get a fuel baffle too if you haven't already. You run dry of fuel around on a left hand corner or you have a miss fire at high boost pressure youll get detonation and it's game over.

Haha brilliant nas 😂

I use r7420-10s at 400bhp with WI. Could probably get away with 9s but these have performed well so far.

I’m using the same at 500bhp. Spot on for me, had to change from bur9eqp when I went over 450hp
Do you use Wi mate?, only asking as i might buy a cheapy set of bur9s see how it runs. £100+ on plugs is a pita and i recently got replicas that fucked in 1000 miles.

This. I’m pulling my engine for the second time this year because I was having ignition breakup while WOT and lost compression on the front rotor. Get a proper fuel/ignition setup or budget for a rebuild (even after a rebuild you’ll still need to upgrade those anyways).
