Yes there was one just gone on the 3rd and another 23rd-ish. Ill be back to work so won't be attending as much as I'd like to. I really want a good dry day for a proper shakedown as my last few were wet/damp except the one i blew a tip 🤦‍♂️

Yeah tbh I'm probably gonna wait I wanna get my boost 100% dialed and also nice warm tarmac for my first track day in it.

looking sweet mate! Bet you can’t wait to get her out on track.
Yeah should be good fun on track. I'm going to have to sort some better brakes I'd imagine. The rate at which it gathers speed is alarming lol. I can't see the stock brakes been able to last a great amount of consecutive laps.

With decent pads/ fluid and discs they should be fine unless you're a track weapon. I can go pretty well around croft after probably 30-40 trackdays there. It has some big breaking zones and i can last 3 really hot laps. I can do 5 laps if there's is nothing else in my mirrors so i will just brake a little earlier to save heat, its all good fun nonetheless.

I can't recommend the tuition there enough, I've done it twice and will certainly do it at other circuits i visit this coming year.

4 pot fronts on a 1200kg car are usually an upgrade.

Yeah very true! I guess it wouldn't hurt to try them. I am slightly concerned about potentially messing up the bias with a big kit upfront.

I expect to go bbk at some point but tbh feel i can still push the oem 4 pots yet. Once you go full blown race then 4packet is the man to talk to.

I have also had the same concerns. There's a good thread on RX7 Club in which some of the bias calculations have been done for popular BBK's in the US market: Here. I wish there was info for many of the options we have here.

I've just picked up a used set of k-sport 8 pots with 330mm disks, and having attempted to extend these the calculations, I've hopefully correctly calculated that the smaller pistons on the 8 pots, offset the bigger disk size almost perfectly and should retain near stock bias with oem rears.

I wonder if anyone has engineered a kit to keep the front to rear bias stock of close to. Problem with most bbk is they are just universal calipers and just supplied with specific adapters for said car. Would be nice if someone had a specific fd kit.

Good work! Please report your findings/conclusion when you have tested the theory I would very much like to hear the results!

Will happily do so. Won't be before next year though as my car is rather broken at the moment.

Yeah I saw you were having trouble making boost. I'm having the exact opposite lol my boost is wild lol. Any idea what your issue is?

Looking good mate! So clean and tidy! 👍🏻

Cheers bud. Just want the rest of the black hoses to show up now. Will make it look much better. Ordered black hoses and they sent 3 blue and 1 black ffs. Although having seen how well the kit performs I'll let them off.

HAhaha yeah annoying but at least they sent you some I guess 😂

Must go well with the power it’s making now... apart from the boost creep which I’m sure you’ll sort in no time!

Blow by on the manifold. I knew my boost was tailing off, but didn't realise just how much power I was losing. In hindsight though it all seems obvious now lol. Even with this the turbo still spools so easily. My power graph should have looked more like yours, although mine hasn't suffered from creeping so far.

You will get it sorted mate. These things are meant to test us lol. You have got yourself a great turbo though when they come online you certainly know about it lol. I'm looking forward to getting the power and torque earlier now and I'll be happy.
