A mate of mine ran them on his skyline recently and he absolutely loved them said they were better than r888's. You can have a drive of my car and see what you think. I'll be all over croft track days next year.

Its how well they fair after some trackdays tbh. I went from 888s to ado8r and found them much better tbh and they deffo lasted longer. nangkang's got all squidgy and squirmy under braking once they started to wear but this is going back some years. Still im happy to give them another bash!

croft next year is a cert for me, if im home and not at work ill go to as many as im available plus blyton, oulton, cadwell etc

I think r888 have had their day to be honest. I've used ad08rs before and I agree they are a excellent tyre I do like to try new stuff though.

Yep, got to try new things and things that havent been done before. 888s are still fantastic tyres for a hot sunny trackday but wear out to quick and are unforgiving on anything except hot tarmac. ive been looking at AR-1s for a while and think they have come a long way since they first launched the NS2's.

Well hopefully they are decent if not I'll just stick them on eBay as slightly worn lol.

Im sure they will be great mate, Like i said they look to have come a long way since the first launched the NS2's

Had the tyres fitted earlier. Havent had any amount of heat in them yet but sidewalls have little to no flex which is good. The combination of the coilovers and these have all but removed any body roll and the car turns really flat now. Need to get them worn in as only done about 10 miles with them but early signs are good especially considering they were cold. Need to raise the rear maybe another 5mm and get the geo setup done then should hopefully have a decent handling car.
