So I was just driving through Adenua and was like wtf another RX7!!! English too! some one on fduk drected me to this post. I was in a discovery at the time but will be on rack in the rex from tomorrow, keep an eye out for me.
Managed a few laps today, and have to say the car is a lot more capable than I am, but it is great just
Being here again, met James earlier on today, hope your temp issues get sorted alright, brakes need an upgrade
Before the next track day may look at some better for the rear. Just started spitting with rain here so time for a beer or two.
Nice to meet you bud, I figured the temp issue out but not sure I can fix it here. Intercoolers doing a bloody good job but it's fighting a losing battle, rad n turbos are basically soaking the pipes in heat even with all that ventage, going to look for reflective tape tomorrow.
Around 160 cars on track by mid morning today, bloody scares me at times, but great fun.
Some of you guys would love it here not only the ring but surrounding roads are mental , hair pin
bends and perfect tarmac make for a great driving experience. even if you are as slow as me.lol
Just to give anyone that is thinking of making the trip a very rough idea on the costs.
Eurotunnel £180 (Ferry is the cheaper option)
Accommodation £190 five nights
Fuel £70 fill up at home
Fuel euro 280 and come home with quarter of a tank.
Food and refreshments euro 250
Ring Laps are euro 30 per lap, this can quickly mount up 10 Laps = euro 300, at around 13 miles per lap it can be hard on the car the brakes and fluids it
is a good idea to make sure they are up to the task ahead before going which also has a cost to factor in.
