Boost problem

Hey guys,

I got a problem, that I have only low boost (<0,6 bar) on 1st Turbo and very low to no boost with 2nd turbo (starts with a little under 0,6 bar and with more rpm it goes down to 0 bar). All values are in relativ pressure.

On the map that was on the PFC when I got it from Japan, there was set 1,15 and 1,00 for primary and secondary boost. I attached my map from Japan.
I've reset the ECU, but the problem stays the same.

I found out today, that there is a damaged check valve (see pic).
Also I found out, that I could move the CCA with little or no power when the hoses on the solenoid where attached. I removed the hoses and the CCA was rock solid moved out. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance and sorry if my English is bad (I'm german)

Changed the check valves to viton valves and the problem is gone :)

New problem arrived: I wanted to change back to the map from japan, but the car doesn't start with it. Can anyone tell me why? Was the map corrected for to much air caused by the damaged check valve? So the previous owner might knew about that?

It starts and runs fine with the basemap from the PFC.

I would stick with power fc rather than aything from japan, go and get it mapped by someone in the uk

Totally agree with joe, stick with a tried and tested ecu rather than a totally unknown ecu that had come from japan. I've seen some horrendous results from using redom and reflashed ecus from all the top jdm brands. Pfc are old tech but rock solid reliable which is why most of us still to this day use them.

just seen you're in germany, maybe there are tuners in Germany? there's a few in southern UK if you don't mind travelling

it's an PFC, but it came with an tuned map on it :)

but I think you are right. For now I stick with the base PFC map and try to search for a tuner here in Germany. It's Reisbrennen (biggest JDM meet in Germany) this weekend, maybe someone there can tune rotarys :)
