4th Nov, FD:OC Dyno Day with Rotor Torque

Hi Roy,

Just updated the information on my car, little out of date and year change:

Ceylon: 2002 Bathurst R with 99 spec twins,TGS back box and 4.44 diff

Initial Dean: 2001 Type ??? With a backbox

NoisyNelly: 1995 - Extended Street Port, Non Sequential Conversion, HKS Downpipe, Small Silenced Midpipe, Kakimoto Backbox. not so stock.

I think I have a small boost leak too which im trying to sort on saturday.

My bad! I got your name confused with Noyzboy.

Would it be worth all us paying attendees to give a brief list of engine work to assist with the list? Like,

Neil (jdmr_ Neil)
13b with light exhaust porting.
K27-7200 single turbo
Pfc
Aem Wi

Something like that, no need to list fuelling shit and bloody air filters as if your single that shit is done or don't matter.

Yes, that will help. Let's start a list. There are another 8-10 confirmed on Facebook as well but basically on the day I will be recording runs and updating user results on the FD:OC Facebook page with a picture of the car and Dyno plot on the PC screen. I will use a notepad to keep track of results and the leaderboard.

Hi guys, we have the following deposits which have now been used to pay for the Dyno this Sunday. The following people have paid for their place and on the day those that have paid the deposit will be asked to pay a balance of £20 at the event.

£20 deposits will be accepted until Friday at midnight but note that the final balance for those that have NOT YET paid but want to run their car on the dyno will be asked to contribute £30 at the event.

Those that have paid deposits so far are:

1. James Butterworth
2. Alan Harper
3. Dean Bayley
4. Liam Case
5. Neil Atkinson
6. Mark Kitchen
7. Paul Mattin
8. Nigel Cocks
9. Thomas Kinsman
10. Geoffrey Willingham
11. Neil Asquith
12. Jack Ellis
13. Luke Smith
14. Roy Clark

Those that have indicated they are going but have not paid or will be spectators are:

1. Thomas Ruston-Shaw
2. Adil Hussain
3. Luca Zammattio
4. Matty Wright
5. Oliver Aspden
6. Adrian Moore

Maybe's include:

1. Kash Rajpoot
2. Lukie Heath
3. Joe Langer

This list does not include Rotor Torque, Colum or Marco.

Yeah, go for it buddy! Would be good to check out your FD . It's an odd group of us this time, people from all over! Usually, it's more regional :D.

Ceylon,

Can I ask you to show up at 10-1030 on Sunday? We would like to run your car first to get the parameters correct on the Dyno for everyone else. If your car makes 270-290 we will know we are in the ballpark for everyone else on the day.

Might be better using yours as you know what she made last time, mines not running 100% right, so wouldn't be a good benchmark (y). I'm out the night before and it's a 3 hour drive, aiming to arrive for 11.

Boo, was hoping to use a standard car do that we can set the parameters up to ensure we all get "accurate figures" as I'm sure mine was a touch (or way) optimistic.

Yours is the best car to start with.

Let's be clear. If you haven't paid anything yet but want to Dyno your car on Sunday you will be required to pay £50, whereas those that have already paid a deposit will only end up paying £40 total.

I won't know if I can make it untill Friday so instead of been a pain in the arse I'll just give it a miss and just do the next one.

It's up to you man. This will be one of the few times you will ever see so many FD owners in one place in addition to the tuners/specialists. Actually, I am not sure when the last time was that the tuners and specialists were agreeing to meet up at an event.

I don't think its a case of a pita, more just acknowledging you will need to pay £50 rather than £40.

Let me know if you change your mind.

It's just work bud. If they don't need me over the weekend I'll definitely be coming. Will know for sure by tomorrow.
