4th Nov, FD:OC Dyno Day with Rotor Torque

Might be interested in this.... whats the total cost?
Having never attended a Dyno Day before, I assume they dont actually do any work to your car but simply throw it on the rollers and give you a print out?

£20 deposit and another £15-20 on the day depending on final numbers.

Yes, in theory you put your car on the rollers and they do a few pulls and give you a print out. Then we all compare and talk bollocks all day while drinking tea, making our ears bleed and having a good time.

Sounds F'in amazing!! Where is it? Northampton?

Would you guys be ok with the BBC attending this event? They have asked if we have any members who can give a few words about what makes these cars so desirable to steal for the bbc show 'Ill Gotten Gains' with a few shots of a car or two.

I'll pass on the event details if someone can confirm they are welcome to attend (y)

Wait, what? Since when we're these cars desirable to be stolen?

:ROFLMAO: I don't know but it might be more common with prices going north!

PS: If you don't want them at the event i'll put a post up for volunteers, I just thought 2 birds 1 stone and all that

Bumping the event. Looks like we have over 10 cars committed but only a handful of deposits. Not a great thing to have to put up so much cash up front by Rotor Torque ahead of time but I am hopeful that more deposits will come in.

is this happening?

No, I think the BBC thing will be separate.

I have some news related to the Dyno day. We are going to have Stu and Jay from Rotor Torque, Marco del Toro and Colum from the Garagereg crew all in attendance, and many of you will know that all four have been in the rotary game for ages and the FD game since the 90s-2000s.

It will be a great opportunity to meet these guys whom are so dedicated to the 13b and the rotary in general, and it will be a good opportunity to meet members of the community.
