I have owned my Mazda RX-7 FD3S since approximately 1999 and have thoroughly enjoyed it while taking meticulous care of it throughout the years.
My approach to modifying the car has always been guided by a clear philosophy: to modernize and enhance the FD3S while preserving its original appearance and character. The objective has been to address known mechanical weaknesses and potential failure points, improve reliability, street performance and drivability, and incorporate modern upgrades—all without compromising comfort or everyday usability.
Every modification and component has been carefully researched and selected with these principles in mind. The car has always been kept in a closed garage, has never been used on a racetrack, and has benefited from Greece's mild climate, which has helped preserve the chassis in excellent, rust-free condition.
The rotary engine is in excellent mechanical condition, having undergone a comprehensive rebuild at approximately 100,000 km by a highly specialized Greek workshop with extensive rotary-engine expertise and access to RE Amemiya.
A selection of original factory components, including the alloy wheels, radio-cassette unit, various engine parts and other items, will also be included with the car, allowing the next owner to retain or restore aspects of its original specification.
Overall, the car represents nearly three decades of careful ownership and thoughtful development, with the aim of creating a refined, reliable and engaging FD3S that remains true to the spirit of the original RX-7.
