I'm just waiting for actual welded photos as they are just tacked in those pictures. Maybe he even started the bash bars in the doors, but we will see.Looks tidy, I welded in mounts for a trim dodger, a real cage looks a lot better![]()
Maybe talk to @Francob about a respray if Bristol isn’t too far for you - his is looking![]()
Thanks mate. Bristol would be fine. Only across the a303 or m4 depending where it is.Maybe talk to @Francob about a respray if Bristol isn’t too far for you - his is looking![]()
Perfect!Yes Anil is based in Thornbury near Bristol. Can’t recommend him enough. Very talented and a real passion for what he does. Private message me if you want his number.
Thanks man, although it is an off the shelf cage made by ASTRollcages. This version has the NASCAR door bars instead of the 'x'.You made a nice job of that!
I like the door bars
This is going to be wild when done, as kits go it’s one of the best!View attachment 35277

Last bits getting finished now, just need the brackets sorting for the steering rack and then make sure the seats fit nicely.
I'm hoping so!!This is going to be wild when done, as kits go it’s one of the best!![]()
I think I am reading this right, did the doors need to be sacrificed for the cage?
Yes that's correct, I didn't realise but the NASCAR door bars push out quite a lot, so the lower ¾ of the inner door has gone. So lexan windows it is for meI think I am reading this right, did the doors need to be sacrificed for the cage?
i guess the windows wont work now![]()
