Twin Turbo Intake Setup

That is the old one which is essentially the exact same as the Greddy. The new RE-A comes in 1.5x (fits with stock battery but not stock air box) or 2x size designations (must relocate battery).

Thanks! Haven't tried fitting the stock airbox with it but must give that a go sometime. :) Also need to fabricate some sort of custom ducting to it & get some foam to stick to the edges. Where does one get foam like that in strips etc does anyone know? (Or even the technical name for it so that I can Google it - "expanding foam strips"??)

Ebay for the foam strips mate, can't remember what I searched but there's loads of different options on there.

I think I'm pretty set on the AutoEXE intake now paired up with an upgraded smic, also looking at the Greddy hard pipe kit. Do we think there would be a benefit from ceramic coating these pipes to keep the heat out? Quite fancy painting them black anyway.

Greddy hard pipe kit is good but the pipe to the elbow needs trimming if you use the stock elbow or a metal one with the same shape.

Ceramic coating answer = no, don't worry about it.

Haha I'll just paint them the reason i asked is because I did see someone get theirs done, thought it's either a good idea or a pointless expense. And yes full kit including elbow is 230 odd quid plus shipping, taxes etc which isn't too bad I thought.

Managed to find someone with an RE bonnet who said their AutoEXE intake clears fine, so I will take their word for it and hope for the best!

I saw his reply. No worries. My Greddy hits my bonnet...with a stock radiator it probably wouldn't but with the 48mm Koyo it's like 0.5mm too high.

Had this with the hks pipes, not sure what intercooler it was and blitz filters.

Now got this radtec setup

That's quite neat there si! My intercooler is larger than that so my stock duct/cover doesn't fit anymore!

Yea i liked it as it was with the smaller intercooler but couldn’t resist when I seen the radtec come up for sale.
Just need to sort the hoses out this year from the air filters

Bloody hell you got fishing rods coming out of the top of your strut towers ? Looks pretty awesome though fair play ?

Sorry to rake this thread up, but didn’t see the point in starting a fresh thread for the same topic..

I’m running with Twins also and won’t be doing any track (at least not for the foreseeable). So I’ve got this lump of an intake box (ARC) with 6 pipes leading from it and I’m planning to do the Air Pump delete. It’s in need of new filters (x2) but I’ve not seen any for sale in the UK and the only place so far is Nengun where they sell for just over £100 + Post and Customs. I’ve been looking at alternatives to tidy up the bay after removing the pump and have come across the Greddy Intake Kit on the same site at £156 +. P&C. Anyone know of other good kits?

Should I look at changing the ARC to something else or stick with it and buy the filters?

If you wanted to keep the ARC box I believe K&N filters 33-2119 fit just fine and are a fair bit cheaper than the price you've got for ARC elements.

Thanks Ceylon, I’ve just literally read this and checking prices now ??

I have seen a nice big filter that feeds both turbos. I’m tempted to look in to those

This is what mine looked like after air pump delete mate, the two blow of valves don't need to go into the air box but they're fucking loud so I put those mini filters on which helped.
