Stoplock fitment?

Hi all

My first proper post :)

Has anyone used a stoplock pro steering wheel lock and knows if it fits our stock steering wheels? Seems like a good product but the reviews are littered with "this doesn't fit". Alternatively if anyone has any other reccomendations for similar products that would be cool to get opinions on.

Got some decent antitheft already, but going one step further with something that can actually be seen and acts as a deterrent I think is what I'm going for here.

I use one these (image from google), it's at least 15 years old but it fits and does the job:

Haha proper 90s rust bucket now 😂 bet if you took the hazard switch out, turned it upside down you'd get ignition lights ready to hot wire 😂

I went with a quick release hub, it has the added bonus that people keep away from you when your skipping down the road holding a steering wheel

I did think of doing that. But then thought where do I put the steering wheel?? If I go to the pub or a restaurant, I'd have to wear it like a chain, like Flavour Flav wears his oversized clock!

Your saying it like that would be a bad thing?!

Lol, with my miata in the photo, I do the same but with the whole ECU

No!

It's bad enogh the word 'stock' has replaced 'standard' and the word 'delete' gets used in place of 'removal'. But this I will not let slide!

That is either a Eunos Roadster or an MX5! Not a Miata (unless of course it is an American import... 😬 😜:censored: )

Its a Eunos, but if I say eunos to non car people, noone knows what I'm on about  Its close enough

Yes they are and I need to fix it lol. Ive got more pressing issues in it though, I'm struggling to get the V8 to run right :p

Mystery solved, it fits

I'm on my second one of these. The little shutter inside the keyhole jammed closed on the first.
They turn anticlockwise to lock which is a little unconventional.
It's worth putting a label on it to remind yourself for those occasions when you've come out of the pub loaded on a dark night and then you find you can't get your stoplock unlocked !!
