Great. I will book the track day today and the accommodation today.

I'll let Stu know as well since he wants to bring two FD's. His white track car on 99 twins and his blue car running 1.8-2.0 bar of boost on a S366.

Lol s366 I wish you no I will probably need all of the track to make boost my s493 wont spoil in any of the infield only on long straights so lots of you will be passing me so I just move over and wave u by then maybe catch you end of the straights then your be gone

For anyone who doesn't know the circuit... Imagine how fast you'll get on the straights in an FD!

I got one clean lap in my FD back when my car was basically 100% stock minus a tune for 0.8 bar and a cat-back exhaust. I hit about 140 mph (speedo so probably a little slower) on the Bentley straight and the best I could ever achieve in a RX-8 was like 117 mph (GPS). So, everyone else will definitely be moving by the end of that straight in a modified FD.

Pretty good speed for a RX-8. Mine doesn't even make 110 (gps) down there. A genuine 140 in my FD should be doable i reckon...

Yeah, quickest I ever clocked was 117mph and a 2:30 time but my engine did have a Hayward half bridge if that means anything at all. It could pull on Malcom's car at Snetterton on the Bentley straight so it must have been doing something on the top end beyond a stock RX-8 motor.

Anyway, 140+ in your FD is a given as it is with most of us I think. You may even see 150+ so good thing you got new brakes.

Yeah my discs are a bit fucked. So might go new pads and just kill the discs on the day, RZ discs innit
