Snetterton 300: 5th Sep 19 - £169

Hey everyone,

What a fantastic day it was at Blyton Park on 5th July with a tremendous turnout of 22 rotaries.

@Stu Rotortorque and I are keen to do another track day before temps get too cold, and we'd like to do a day with longer straights to go FAST.

Snetterton has quite a few days available but we think 5th September 2019 might be a good one. It's really a fantastic circuit that is technical and has two large straights. On the Bentley straight in a 300hp twins car you will get over 140 mph on the Bentley straight. Big fun!

92dB drive-by (but mic is further away so just drive on the outside lane of the main straight (not near the wall).

I can't commit to any dates yet though. Waiting for something to come though where I'll be out of action for two weeks. But shòuld be alright other than that.

Sure, I would intend to stay over as well. I can technically get up at 5:30am and drive there but I have done this in the past and it leaves me tired as hell all day.

It would be nice to have a few of us stay at the same hotel like we did for Blyton and enjoy the evening.

Snetterton is a great track (in the dry), so I would be interested. Would stay over too.

Great. I vote for the Breckland Lodge as it should have enough rooms for us, good food and beer and is very close to Snetterton. Price for a room at the moment is £75 on 4th September.

Happy to listen to other suggestions if people have stayed elsewhere in the past.

Last time I drove snetterton my alternator died and I didn’t get home till 6am.

The time before that my driveshaft snapped and I didn’t get home to
3am.

I run a huge one. It's a major issue with twins. I also run a baffled oil filler neck.

I’m single but on the last autosolo it chucked a bit over the top of the engine.
