Site updates

Hi All,

As you can probably see the forum has changed somewhat. We're now running the latest software and have simplified the site. The main articles section has been removed as we we're only updating this once per year and it added significant complexities.

We've made every attempt to comply with the online safety act, although we're not fully compliant as we don't age verify users. I'm willing to take the risk as our target audience is not children and any user can use the report button should they feel any content requires moderation.

Major changes:

• New style added (Includes light and dark mode) - I will look to upgrade and keep the old style (support ticket open with the original creators)
• Direct messaging has been turned back ON
• Forum registrations have been turned back ON
• FORUM STAFF CAN NOW READ YOUR DIRECT MESSAGES - This is required to comply with the online safety act. I've put up a poll to get your opinions and may revert to disabling direct messages based off your feedback. I just want to make it clear that I think having access to your PM's is a joke and this is not something I wished to implement.

Im a fellow dark mode user so it made sense to include it if we were going to update things.

If anyone spots bugs with the theme let me know and I'll look into it

Running the site takes up a lot of your free time and we have an awesome forum as a result. I would expect I speak for the majority when I say, THANK YOU!
