Beaulieu Simply Japanese Car Show - Sun 28th July 2019

Simply Japanese

A great day out for both Japanese car owners and enthusiasts.

I have arranged a joint stand with www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk and any other FB or FC's that are attending.
The RX8 club seem to have everything well organised, including food and drinks for everyone on the stand!

Following that, stick your name down here confirming you're coming and have paid, then i will make sure all names are updated with RX8 club.

I believe the deadline for club stand bookings is 30th June!

Finally the club is putting a load of food and drinks together for people on the stand and ask for a small £5 contribution towards it all on the day, which to me sounds like a nice idea! i know i'll make the most of the food

Doubt I'll have the engine sorted by then though so won't be in the rx7

Ahh nice to hear its a good show! I've never been.

Such a shame about your car, just as the summer is creeping in too must be so frustrating.

Have you hunted round for prices to rebuild it yet?

It usually has a massive and varied turnout when the weather is good, although not too many RX7s from what I remember

It is annoying about my car but that is the joy of the rotary I guess. I'm leaning towards a new Mazda engine for piece of mind and considering they're not an awful lot more than a rebuild. Hopefully it'll be sorted and run in before next show season.

Didn't realise you could still buy a completely new engine.... sounds like a good idea.

Do you need 10 cars for a stand? We only had 6 last year and got a space no problem.

Well to be fair it does say minimum expected to attend... then it goes on to say you must all arrive together, otherwise we cant guarantee others will be able to join the stand later...

So i guess if all 10 didn't arrive, then they would just make more space for the next stand.
I'll ping them an email and see what they say....

Obviously i don't want to tread on any of the event organisers toes, so if any event organisers would rather do it, then let me know.
