Post pics of inspirational RX's (not your own please!) All replies must contain at least 1 pic of an inspirational RX7 and short explanation why. So here we go:

Rich from RX7Club's Black FD. Love the OEM+ styling

Eric from GrandMighty / Corner Balanced's old RX7. Probably my favourite OEM+ FD

Getting into bodykitted cars, Phil Sohns (Herblenny) 3 Rotor with FEED kit. Love the attention to detail on this:

Finally, a car that needs no introduction to rotorheads, the immense 4 Rotor!

Rich has always been a good source of inspiration for me too (y).

Gordon's 3 rotor - One of my favourite FD's.

Tbh most of my inspiration these days comes from Mazda, I think they got it pretty right first time, maybe I'm getting old :p:D.

I really like this look, minus the amber corners. Early front, nice splitter, 99 wing

Do we not have any inspirational ones in the UK ? lol
I was going to post a pic of Tom's, but I'll wait for him to finish putting it back together ;)

There are a few UK cars I like, but we obviously have alot less to pick from than other countries:

Craig's V8 Monster. Shame it got broke, be interesting to see what Ifty does with the shell.

I'm bias with this one, but Daves FD. Building a show car on a whole other level:

do these add anything functionally, or do they just add extra awesomeness for looking ace?
The uppers are adjustable, stock ones aren't. With the lowers, I believe the only change is the ballpoint is replaceable on the Moonface ones, where they aren't on the stock ones.

ah, got you, thanks for the info!

There were a set of the uppers on eBay earlier in the week for £400. Not sure if you can still get them new, but hardrace do something that has the same adjustability, but they don't look as nice.

I seems like whatever you do to a FD ( well almost) and paint it in a single colour, give it a good polish and don't splash graphics and stickers over it, it will look great

I really love the FEED rear over fenders and front wings... but I couldn't bring myself to put an FRP kit on the car.

Here are some white FDs for my own inspiration Project milky
