I had a set of AD08RS fitted yesterday they replaced the NS2R (yes I know these ns2r are considered crap) and what a noticeable difference, the car feels a lot smoother with road noise now
down to a minimal level. I put a few miles on them yesterday going to have the MOT done and took her out for a run this morning and they appear
to hold on well, so I am happy with them, car also passed the MOT which is always a concern but happy days.

I have read that these are not as good as the AD08R were but they do seem pretty good, anyone had them on track ?

I think the NS2R's are deceptively good, a little under estimated unless its cold and wet where they are shocking, but then who uses their FD when it's cold, wet, and snowy?

I thought ns2r were absolute rubbish. Ad08r were night and day different and a league above.

I think the new RS will be a great improvement. They are the same price as the new 888r so i would expect good things

I Don't know how much the 888r are, I paid £636 fully fitted which I was pleased with.

Rubbish in what way? I have no experience with the Ad08R's so cannot comment, but the closest tyre that was on par for me was the discontinued Toyo R1R's great semi-slick summer tyres for the price point.

Wobbly under braking was my biggest issue. They also moved around too much once you loaded up on a corner.

I think the issue was with the side walls.

For a street tyre they were very good but a soon as you pushed them i felt a major lack of confidence in them.

I swapped back to ad08r and immediately felt straight on hard braking. I expect with a bbk this would be even worse.

Only my opinions though, many people like them and bang for buck they get top marks
