Lets see your exhaust!

@rob fd I just noise tested mine at 5500rpm and got 104.8. Louder than I was expecting. Just hope I get away with it on croft tester on Monday

Wow that's gonna be tight hopefully your reader is a tad high. Was it a expensive one?

Robbo, when he asks the redline say 7k no higher. He will then tell you to hold it at 5200. Hold it at 5k it will make all the difference.

Rob don't make the mistake of thinking the rb will make your car, modern day car quiet. It's still pretty loud by modern standards and that just idling. When pushing on its still screaming away. If you want the ear piercing howl stay open screamer. I've never heard anything so loud as a rotary with open wg.

You need to be careful. It depends on the tester. I tell people the redline is 7,500 and then one tester looked at my tachometer and saw 9,000 so he made me rev to 6,000-6,500. Fortunately, my car is very quiet but it's worth mentioning that each tester could ask you to rev to a different number and they control your fate of getting on track in the first place.

^^Since when has the top number on the tacho represented the redline? That's almost as bad as "my car does 180 cuz that's wot my speedo sez".

I've done the screamer pipe thing in the past. Don't get me wrong it sounds awesome but I'm all about the iwg or plumbed back in nowadays.

Same here, just fast country lanes all the way to scotland or across country to carlisle. Tbh its gets used less and less on public roads nowadays and just usually getting to a circuit. Gonna make more of an effort this year with some of the more southern circuits.
