knock sensor

probably pretty much of a muchness, but any benefit putting knock sensor on one rotor over the other? Cant do dual sensors on my ecu, but may as well stick one on. Also anyone have a good (ie cheap) source for a 10mm-8mm step down stud? I guess I could try drilling out the bosch knock sensor to take 10mm, but seems a little bodgy...

Generaly its on the front housing as its further away from gearbox but i like to run mine on the rear as the rear runs leaner than the front typically.
