I think it might be worth the effort to organise a semi-annual group buy for the club from RHDJapan, Amayama or Nengun. We could all collectively save quite a bit on shipping and customs. We just need to formalise a way to collect funds before placing an order, and we need someone with a lot of storage space to house parts and ship them to members.

Would there be enough support to do a Group Buy twice per year? Or is your mortgage too important? :p

Nice Idea, I don't order that much form them myself, but my parts room (front room) is plenty big enough for a load of goodies if that's an issue.
I guess we could create some paypal thing to collect money and pay out of that one account on one order?

I will say there are some shipping quirks at times with them. For example I ordered a front bumper and bonnet from them, it was £200 cheaper in shipping to buy them in 2 separate orders....😂

I'm about to place an order... certainly happy to hold off if there's enough interest in this (y)

The guys at RHD are very approachable on social media, I met up with them in Tokyo and they were willing to upgrade my auto salon tickets,

We was in talks about setting up a bulk order back then.
The problem with there shipping is they have to go off the very strict Japanese postal service regulations,
If a order is put in big enough to justify a different method I’m sure they would be willing to help.
There are lots of things I would want that the shipping is preventing me from buying,

Mus at japwestmods also does a regular container out of japan and I’m sure he would be willing to help if he needed a container filling quicker.
Although I would say his prices are a bit up there.

I'm not ready to buy yet as there are a few mechanical things first to take care of. But I definitely would like to buy various bits of interior trim if they have it.

Seems reasonable it might be that to be viable it needs to be small container sized though.

If only you guys would stay in Europe some of us foreign muck could join in
