I broke it quickly...And repeatedly...Chaste White Rebuild

Fairplay, just to confirm 9l of meth and 1l distilled to make the a 90/10 wmi mix? or 5l of meth and water to make a 50/50 wmi mix.

Did you go for the 76/85 turbo spec or something different?
It’s 8.2 litre tank, yes 90% meth 10% distilled water.

Turbo is a 75/76 1.25 AR (approx)

Jennychem sell 99.9% methanol. But loads of other places do too.

Fuel calculations suggest 115 octane approx.
How much timing are you planning to run to warrant a theoretical 115 octane?

Trying to figure out if i need to get M1 or this stuff off ebay or a better source.

any idea what the difference is between the M1 stuff and this?

Edging closer, it’s palpable.

Boost hoses having AN4 fittings sorted for boost control and the throttle body boost hoses having 2 x bungs added for water/meth, hopefully back with me this weekend. These are just a temp set up to get some running in miles done.

New MAC valve arrived with loom, fitted today.

I was a little worried about the nylon water/meth hoses melting and getting brittle so I’ve added some heat sheathing, actually looks cooler too.

Kicked off calibration/ecu set up today. I think I’m going to need to sort an older PC for tuning as using a USB to Ethernet adaptor via my Mac is being less than ideal with intermittent drop outs from ECU.

Can you not wire in a WiFi dongle and connect wirelessly?

Syvecs requires Ethernet (cat5/cat6) so not aware of any wireless connectivity. I’ve had to use a USB to Ethernet convertor. It’s a shame but most modern PCs have done away with an Ethernet port. I want to avoid buying an old PC if I can help it.

Syvecs sell one for a couple of hundred quid. To link sell something 'very similar' for 20-30... I have one on my bench ready to be hooked up- I find it useful at times to be looking at the engine bay when I am playing around with the calibration. At the moment I have an extra long length of ethernet cable and it just gets in the way most of the time

Thanks Marco, I’ll look into it but would like to avoid shelling out a few hundred at the moment, this car has wiped me out. 😂
