Quick update, the car is off to Advocult in a week or so to have the fuel system sorted but in the meantime I’ve been busy collecting parts for some winter changes.

I’ve started with OE water pump, gaskets and thermostat for new engine. Ordered a Winchester Sump but waiting on a build date for that.

I’m changing to Syvecs S8 for a few different reasons so that should arrive this week.

For the semi PP build I’ve gone with a billet rotary lower inlet and sourced a DBW kit from AUS, looks decent using genuine Bosch parts.

I’m switching up to a 36-1 trigger wheel set up from Full Function.

Next up is buying new sensors for the Syvecs.

Ideally I want to keep the radium rails but will see if it’s possible. I can run 4 injectors on the new lower inlet but will stick to 2 and block the other ones.

EGTs, 02 and knock sensors. Spent a decent amount on KA sensors for MAP, oil pressure, back pressure etc.

Picked the FD up from Advocult today, I’d highly recommend Tom for anyone considering getting some work done.

Next up - pull engine for new owner and continue collating all the parts together for the new set up.

Check that lim carefully. Mine was a bit rough around the edges. One of the bolts to the front iron wouldn’t sit flush either. Also it’s 8an rail.
