This was a new challenge for me to try and figure out how to do a engine compression test on my 1992 RX7 FD

I made a mistake by not removing the yellow EGI fuse which is located in the bigger fuse box in the engine bay on the right hand side, so make sure you do that first before doing the next steps of the process if your planning on doing this yourself.

Nothing is wrong with my engine and is showing good compression numbers which is awesome to know.
This task was to make sure my engine is good before I start committing to some future engine modification changes.

See my video if you would like to see or try, how to do a compression test yourself :)

You don’t need to remove the Egi Relay. Just the fuse on the positive battery terminal fuse box.

Hey,

I ended up taking out 3 different fuses including the one you mean lol I wasn't sure which one had to be removed because on various forums other owners were removing different ones so I took them all out in the end.

That was a first time for me doing this so at least i know now lol. thanks for letting me know.
