Just wondered if anyone had a similar issue or knew of a way to make it easier to install the bolt that secures the upper control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle/hub?

Here is a photo of exactly what bolt I am referring to (the bolt in there in the photo isn't the correct one and has been removed now as I have the correct ones).

I have tried jacking up each corner to try and get the bolt in, but I just can't get it through as the "shaft" of the ball joint pertrudes slightly, stopping it. I do have the suspension back on now too.

Any help would be massively appreciated!

Is the joint all the way in? It looks a little proud? There is a notch on the 'shaft' of the joint for the bolt to pass so it needs to be fully seated.

I would have to double check but I would guess it is a little proud as there is definitely not a notch allowing the bolt to go through.

I need to pop to my unit again in a couple days so I'll check and hopefully get it sorted 🤞

Just looked through some photos of when I had them off the car and I 100% don't have them seated down enough 🤦🏻‍♂️

Knew it would be something simple!! Thanks 👍
