Do the rear sensors bolt up/ produce a signal as well? I'm after hall effect signals and if the mx5 ones do the job it will save me heart ache!I forgot to mention MX5 ABS sensors are £20 new a corner
Not sure if this will work for me; as im on the oem 92/93 abs systemNB MX5 sensors physically bolt up and have the correct distance from the ABS rings but not sure if they read the same on the OEM ABS computer. I installed them because they are hall effect and im using a S2000 ABS system and that computer doesn't care as long as they are hall effect sensors.
Thank you soo much dude.Saw a couple on ebay this week if you are ok with second hand.
New I think are still available from Mazda, or amayama is still showing as being able to source.

It looks like the FD044373XD front left sensor is not being supplied from Mazda Japan, most likely coming direct from an OEM producer as there will still be demand. I find the whole stock becoming discontinued a little strange as often parts come back into stock with Mazda Japan. It might be a bulk order thing whereby they only order in x hundred parts at a time so once they run out of stock they just don't buy a new lot straight away.Thank you soo much dude.
Just to confirm the FD044370XC - is the Front Sensor right abs sensor and FD044373XD is the front left sensor. Any reason why the front left is a lot more pricy. I seen the one's on ebay and the casings look damaged...so probably not worth the risk of buying em. May as well get new one's.
Yeah probably wont work but at £20 its worth a shot! They do physically fit in the OEM hub just like the stock FD sensors, I have one in the front passenger position as we speak. let me see if i can get some pics for you tomorrow. I gutted my ABS system and installed a S2K ABS pump on the side o fthe brake booster to free up some space for IGN coils near the wiper lol.Not sure if this will work for me; as im on the oem 92/93 abs system. Do you know if these nb mx5 abs sensors are a direct fit well into the front oem abs positions? I could do an experiment to see if they will work...if they're only £20 quid each

Im about 75% sure they do. They looked similar in online pictures...just never got one ot try it out since my rears were good. Fronts fit in the OEM position. Connector is different but that is an easy swapDo the rear sensors bolt up/ produce a signal as well? I'm after hall effect signals and if the mx5 ones do the job it will save me heart ache!
You use the non Bosch pump? I have been looking at that but don't think they were ever fitted to cars over here.Yeah probably wont work but at £20 its worth a shot!
