Hi Guys

So how long has this club been going?
I had been part of the S2KUK Club for over 10 years.... They have a paid membership for their club.

Whats the plans with this club if any?

We're the remnants of the FDUK club which had been around since 06/07 I believe, FDOC is relatively recent. Mainly we're here to artificially inflate the price of parts by selling the same bits to each other on rotation.
HAHA Love it.... What happened to FDUK then?
I assume as there are not too many of us, the club will never be that massive?
Would be good to make it the one and only club worth being in :)

What other FD clubs are out there?
Anything I can do to help I will do

1. Less than a year
2. Online store for merch, promo material for events (banners/possibly some sort of rotary engine display), garage area, better event coverage and so on.

Basically we're not short of ideas it just comes down to time and money. I'll probably do a yearly round up for the site each year, what we have achieved and highlights etc.

Awesome.
If you ever need anything making just give me a shout.

I get so much from the knowledge on here and so far all for free, I have also met some awesome and helpful people.

When the time comes I will be happy to donate.
Yes same for me too, this was the point I was making.

I'd love to be a part of creating something awesome for everyone going forward.

This has always been the case and fduk used to be the same until the man holding the reigns lost interest and it got left behind with current technology. The help and advice from forums especially the fd ones I've been a member of have been invaluable.

I'd buy some sort of fd/rotary banner for my garage. I also would be happy to pay a yearly subscription, I mean what's a daft tenner a year or whatver it would be? I'm not sure who but I'm assuming someone is paying for the hosting etc?
Maybe once the merch is up and running a small percent of the subscription money could go towards a prize for like a monthly or quarterly competition for best fd picture or something?

Talking of banners I put this one together I was gunna have made for myself. Images in the design aren't mine though.

I was paying for the hosting however some of it is funded by the sale of stickers @Topgears kindly produced.

We still have money in the hosting pot from this to cover us until the new year. Hosting costs are something that could get expensive down the line as we host all our own images, we're currently using 75% of the space we have so we will need to upgrade in the future, a store will defiantly help with this.

I'm still looking on the best way to get merch produced. I have an automated system that will print and fulfil merch to order. I tested this but due to paypal fees and the £ value it cost £15.50 cost for a tshirt (no profit for the site) so I need to look at an alternative solution.

How much is hosting a year Matt? Could set up a Patreon or GoFundMe that we can all pay into.

Good bunch of lads on here I’d be happy to pay too. It’s a lot friendlier than the bmw boards on here too 😂

BMW boards bloody ell. You wouldn't believe it but they actually type posts, in the same way as how they like to drive!

I got told by one guy on the e30zone I must be on crack and my car must be stolen cos it's from West Yorkshire! I don't know how he got this information but I think he must have been following me.

I belong to a smaller club than this one and pay £25 for club Tshirts the rest of the profit goes towards keeping the site running etc.

The club does not charge for Membership so we are all happy to pay for such things. I would of thought it would be the same on here,

They sell Mugs, Fleeces and Sweat Shirts all with club name and forum name on them.
