FD:OC Dyno Day - 26th May at TGS

This place is the closest and cheapest to Craigs. £40 a room.

I'm not too clued up on the local knowledge in Manchester. All other hotels for that weekend look really expensive.

One option could be drive into town afterwards and stay some where with a bit of nightlife, looks like all the hotels have hiked their prices for the Saturday.

Alright, I'm going to book this one unless people can find another spot in the city? It's going quick I can book a twin room so one can share then it's only £20 for the night?

Alright, I booked a non-refundable twin room at the Britannia Hotel for £39. Anyone else that is staying overnight can sleep in the second bed for half the price of the room, i.e. £19.50. Send me a message and we'll sort it out.

For the rest of you, book the Britannia if you can as they have twin and double rooms for £39-£49 still but they could be going fast.

OK guys I've spoken with Craig and confirmed a 12:00pm start time

This gives people chance to drive in the reasonable hours of the morning. and craig is open for normal business saturday morning.

Some FDOCers will be going for a meal a meal and a few pints after the event and staying over in the above mentioned hotel for only £40 a room.
Book your hotel early as they're booking up fast!

Really!! I was hoping to get away sometime in the afternoon. Feels like it's wasting a day staying so late.

Neil I guess you could arrive early be first on the dyno, and hang round 'til 2/3 ish then leave? although would be great to have a pint afterwards (y)(y)

I'd prob be up for sharing a room if there's a big piss up. taxi for me would be £50-60 ish

Just upgrading our fan to keep all these rotors cool ?

I'm afraid I don't think I'll be bringing the FD next week. I've had a new garage built and am sorting the inside out (fully insulating and fitting out a 18.5 x 22.25ft garage !). The flagging around the garage is partly done and the FD isn't in an accessible place. I'll be in the daily if I come (TDI golf !)

I will be coming but in the mini if that is ok.
Just want to meet people from FDUK and see some running FD's if thats cool?

I'll be popping down for a look, I'll either be in the 7 if my turbo is fitted in time if not then the 8 will do haha ?

Yo, just FYI if anyone needs a room mine has a spare bed. I hope the pub is near the hotel because I plan on having a couple Saturday night.

Looking forward to seeing TGS' home turf and seeing some new faces.

I'm a fucking mong!!!!!!

After doing plugs etc yesterday I must have left my locking wheel nut key stuck on the nut when i drove off for a test blast. I'm fucking raging with myself as i don't even know why i have stupid fucking locking wheel nuts. Aaarrrggghh.

Anyway please please please say someone coming has rays wheel nut. Please please please bring your locking key so i can remove these bastards and launch the fuckers.

Seven sided and ally so you can bash a socket on but it will likely just slip and chew it up.
