Engine rebuild cost

Hi all,

I didn’t want to waste any of the vendors time just yet as I’m a good few months away from having the time/money for getting this done.

Approximately what is the engine rebuild cost at the moment?
I have a engine that was running but the rear rotor looks like it’s chipped a tip. I also have a couple of engine worth of bits so I don’t think I’ll need to replace any parts.

What’s the approximate seals/tips replacement rebuild cost these days?

You won't know until its inspected and the damage has been assessed but you're looking at anything from a few thousand up.

Id take it somewhere local such as Silver Fern Performance for a quote or if you're willing to travel @Stu Rotortorque is the man and I believe he can also get you a new engine from mazda

Budget £2500 to £4500.

Id call 3-4k at todays prices, if things do need to be replaced that you don't have then 5-6k.

Porting etc obviously increasing prices as the keg is split
