Looking to add water before booking in for mapping so probably going with the devilsown tuner kit but there's alot of options available and I'm not sure what to go with.
I'll be using the stock front washer bottle and it'll be controlled via the link plugin.
Any advice on what's tried and tested and the best way for it all to be ran in regards to running failsafes, solenoids and level sensors would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi mate, did you get anywhere with this? Did you get it setup in the end?
I'm also running Link G4X and looking to run water meth injection.

I've looked at a tuner kit from coolingmist, and briefly spoken to the guy at coolingmist. I think the best way to do it from a control perspective is with a fast acting valve controlled by PWM output, turning in the relay just before you start opening the FAV.

With regards to a level sensor I am planning to put this on 1 input to the Link with a switch in series then I can turn the system on/off as I please. The Logic would be controlled in the Link to deactivate the relay and FAV.

In terms of failsafes you could use a pressure switch, or pressure sensor depending on what you want. But it depends how you are going to set the car up and if you really need/want failsafe.

I'm hoping to buy all the kit soon and start wiring it in,

Hella solid-state relay is what I'm running. Ideally, you want an in line pressure sensor and tank level sensor also reporting into the ecu for failsafes.

Note, my setup hasn't been used in anger yet, but have tested it. Got an aquamist hsv spraying preturbo, with one of my storage bins converted to a watertank with aquamist pump underneath all hidden away- fill it via a hose in the left hand boot tool storage location. have a level sensor on the tank wired to the ecu and also got a flow sensor on the hose line that is wired to the ecu. Ecu also controls the hsv so can be given a 3d map based on rpm and manifold pressure. The ecu is limited in terms of custom frequency inputs, but will take a flex fuel sensor and that has a frequency signal. So in terms of safeguard what I have done is make a custom map called 'WI error' with 'fuel composition" (I.e. wi flow) on one axis and wi duty on the other. Then effectively drawn a diagonal v in the resultant map so that if flow matches wi demanded duty the custom map returns a low value, but as mis match occurs then the resultant cell in the map 'climbs up the v' and returns a greater value. Then if the value of WI error exceeds a predetermined value it will trip the ecu into a safer, lower boost map. Tbh I could probably develop a feedback loop so the derived WI error value is used to increase wi duty to get back to demanded flow, but I have probably overthought this as it is.

Is the solid state relay controlling PWM on the pump rather than PWM on a solenoid/FAV to control flow?
Or is it for the solenoid? I thought the output would be strong enough to power a solenoid/FAV?
