Hi all,

Want to know how screwed I am. I've been installing a new turbo oil drain since it was leaking (when I bought it).
Successfully fit it all, and while tightening the bolts up the stud coming from the engine block tore. Does anyone know if I can take them out or are they connected to anything?
I need to figure out how I'm going to fix this...

You should have just enough room there to lock two nuts against each other, back out the stud using the rear nut.

Yeah gave that a shot, it has just too little thread to get both bolts on.
Bought a heat gun, so will try heat up the surrounding area, cool the bolts down and see if I can spin it out with a pair of vice grips if I can get the space for them.

Ah damn, have you got access to a MIG? weld a nut on the end and back it out? Other things that have worked for me are grinding two flats onto the stud and using a spanner, probably not enough room down there to get stilsons on.

No access to MIG sadly. I think the heat gun is the last thing I'll try myself. My only other option at home would be trying extractors and I really don't want to try that. The seal was holding with just one bolt on so I think I would be alright to travel a short distance to a garage and ask them to have a crack at it.

But fingers crossed I'll be able to get a good grip on it. And life will be good.

Remove the OMP to give yourself half decent access. Shouldn't be bad to get out with mole grips or the like then.

Yeah I gave that a shot but the angle is really tough. I might try from under the car and see if it's any easier. Will keep everyone updated of course!
And definitely give the area a much needed clean.
