So yesterday I went and done this trip by myself with a few added extras along the way.
I set off from my house at 1 pm. Went over to Ammanford then to Llandeilo into lampeter and over to Aberaeron. I had a little stop and this is where I took my first pic by the sea. It was a cracking day for a drive! From there I followed the coast up to Aberystwyth then up to Machynlleth where I took my second pic on the loop. Unfortunately I saw no low flying planes! I went from there up to bala and over to the evo triangle. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics on the triangle and I'm kicking myself that I didn't stop on the incredible lake there though I did do a full lap on the go pro so hopefully I'll take some stills from there!
Once I got off the triangle it was around half 5 and wasn't far from the Anglesey arms. I thought balls to going to the hotel early so I took a detour and went over to raf Valley and had a pic with a model hawk. Unfortunately because it was about 7 pm by the time I got there, there was nothing around the air field and it was pretty quiet!
I headed back around to the Anglesey circuit from there in the hope that maybe I'd be at least able to go near the track and get a pic in the car park but all the gates were locked so got myself a pic by the gates.
So after that I went and got some chips, parked up in a place with a nice view and then headed over to he hotel after a good munch!
Got to the hotel around half 8. Signed in and just chilled out in a nice jacuzzi bath and bedded down for the evening.
Monday morning I got up, had a nice sossig and hash brown bap for my brekkie, took another jacuzzi bath and then headed back.
On the way back I decided to head to caernarfon and then cut through to beddgelert. Managed to get a cracking pic at the foot of a huge Hill. The scenery around there was absolutely incredible! Then after the cut through I headed down to Dolgellau then linked up with the Aberystwyth road and pretty much followed the route home that I took up there! All in all I covered a little over 400 miles in my 22 year old mx5 that didn't skip a beat! It was a shame I didn't do it in my fd with you fellow fdocers but It was an incredible drive!
I'll get on the laptop at some point tomorrow but here's one or 2 that I took on the potato
