Any knobs out there?

I noticed before buying my 7 from Torque GT that the fan knob was missing, but they assured me they would replace it before I collected my baby.

Sure enough, it was replaced when I collected it.

Today in the heat, I switched on the air con and went to turn the knob (first time since buying it) and noticed it did nothing.

I tried again then it just fell off.

It looks as though the plastic has cracked and someone has attempted to fix it with some insulation tape.

I am now looking for a spare one, ebay has nothing, is there anything out there?

Just had a look at your pics on a larger screen. Are your panels green backlit? If so, my fan speed knob might look a bit odd being the amber backlit version.

The part number you need for a green backlit version is FD4561195 and is just under £20 from Amayama .

I’m with Tom, should be amber to match your clocks. Unless someone has already swapped your heater panel out with the wrong one from an earlier car

Ahh you are indeed correct.

I assumed they were Green as the back of my fan knob is see through green...I have only driven it at night once and that was driving it back the day I bought it.

This means Torque GT replaced it with a green one that also doesn't illuminate. See photo, I have wedged it back in for now until my new one arrives from Amayama.

ps. White cluster also
