7’s day 2024

[Temujin]

Are there any whispers about sevens day this year yet?

I saw a thread for the last one and wondered if the previous organiser was doing another or whether he scarpered to the Cayman Islands with the millions that was raked in?

Loved the Sevens day at Bicester

[Temujin]

@Charlie1 any plans to redo, and if not do we have any brave soldiers wanting to take up the role?

Reckon C&M would do something?

[bazjim]

I loved last year. It was great to see everyone
C&M would also be a good day.

[SullyKP]

Id really be up for something. Maybe C&M Bedford location would be good for everyone?

[Temujin]

Quite possibly but apparently the only way to guarantee space is to book en Masse when the day event tickets become available. Which isn’t much of a guarantee unfortunately. If they could devote a certain amount of tickets before general sale that would work.
I could look into that if people want, and see if they could accommodate.

Maybe should poll who would want to attend and would be happy to prepurchase

[Temujin]

Have just spoken to them on the phone, will send an email and see what they say

[Temujin]

anyone on here that isn’t on the feckbook group?
I’ve posted a poll to get opinions/numbers on some options!

[Temujin]

Oh, and C&M Bedford is a no go.

[SullyKP]

Can anyone DM a link or add me? The group doesnt appear in FB searches. I'm guessing its a private invite only kinda deal?
