Gotta start somewhere, soo I thought I'd throw something in here after messing with the car for a while.
This weekend was spent making DRL's and sequential indicators for the RE-A AD Facer front bumper. When I say 'this weekend' it's taken bloody ages faffing around with different lights, different wiring options and working out some wiring I'd done a decade or so ago, so 'this weekend' probably involves about 50hours work. It really shouldn't have take that long to be honest.
I think they turned out pretty well. There is a slight stutter in the sequential flow when only the indicators are flashing, but this isn't there when the sidelights are on. I run lights all the time so shouldn't be a problem.
The AD Facer units are actually 944 Turbo lights that are turned upside down, so if anyone ever needs to replace theirs they're always available. But Porsche prices. TBH, they're not that bad and I'm glad to be able to get new lenses etc.
