FD:OC Dyno Day - 26th May at TGS

Yeah looks like you could make it have it then should worst come to worse

I always get rid of mine and fit normal nuts!

I'm a fucking mong!!!!!!

After doing plugs etc yesterday I must have left my locking wheel nut key stuck on the nut when i drove off for a test blast. I'm fucking raging with myself as i don't even know why i have stupid fucking locking wheel nuts. Aaarrrggghh.

Anyway please please please say someone coming has rays wheel nut. Please please please bring your locking key so i can remove these bastards and launch the fuckers. View attachment 3371
I have one I can bring if you want to try it bud.

Is anyone using the M60 Clockwise to get to TGS (I'm coming from Bury along the M66 which then joins the M60) was just wondering if anyone wants to meet up along the way there?

Yo, Joe! Any M6 stainless washers and 25mm length bolts that you could bring?

I've got boxes of bolts etc from my 3 RX8's (so far I've managed to use them on my 7) :)

Yeah I've got loads, only got 20mm and then I think 30or40mm

As long as they are stainless and won't rust would you mind bringing some M6 size?

I'll just bring the lot with me and you can have a rummage through them as I'm not sure what sizes are what tbh! They're in much better condition than what's currently on my car but not sure about stainless as there's so many of them :)

Ok after a piss poor day today unfortunately I will not be attending anymore. My first session today I was out for about 10-15 mins and have chipped an apex seal. I wouldn't mind but i was fucking flying. Anyway I've had 11+years from this engine and is been pushed pretty hard so I'm not down about it. I'm already planning how and when to get the build sorted.

Thanks to Roy and Jow for organising this anyway and to seab for fdoc comradeship. Locking wheel nuts are the last of my worries now but cheers mate.

Ill keep y'all posted

Damn bro, that sucks! It also sucks that we'll miss each other at an event yet again. Once your up and running let me know and I'll book Croft. No more BSing from my side as I need to be taught how to drive! ?

I was already planning on oulton and cadwell in the next few months too. Yeah it's an inconvenience but can't really complain when still tracking the car with 4/5 bar compression. Hopeful still to be back up and running before the end of summer but will depend on too much other shit. I'll be keeping you all informed and will hopefully be attending some other stuff soon enough.

I'm bringing a decent camera for the event. Make sure your wash you cars and I hope it doesn't rain! I'll likely only get up there around 1-2pm. I'm relying on the locals to point us all to a pub for some food and drinks.

This is Manchester you're coming to :ROFLMAO:

Just got back, Thanks for a cool day, nice to meet like minded guys :) Best bit of the day was the lovely flames. Worst bit my car has lost 100bhp down the back of the sofa (either a sticky wastegate or air temps too high causing ecu to turn the boost down !)
