As the link doesn't have purge control what have people done with the fuel vent pipe?

Can it just be plumbed back in without the solenoid, or plumbed elsewhere

I just left the hose disconnected where it comes up near the firewall, think a lot of people do. Eventually I'll disconnect the hardline at fuel tank end and let it vent back there instead

Better to add it back into the loom, rather then venting?
Has anyone got a picture of the solenoid as will have to try and see if it still have it
I would. There isn't really a nice solution otherwise and purge works great.

If you vent to atmosphere it stinks of fuel. Also if you do that you need a roll over valve for safety. Last thing you want when you roll a car is all the fuel leaking out wherever it's venting.

Thanks I'll refit it and try and find what pins it needs to go to on the link
Not sure if I still have my purge solenoid but assume a generic one will still work, I know I still have the little cannister, will have to get a new one way valve as I'm sure that's missing with the solenoid
