FDOC 2018 Carshows

Had two emails recently for Trax Donnington, and Japfest Donnington

Is there any interest from members for attending these?
Do any members want to attend any other shows this year? I'm sure we can get a club stand arranged if there is interest

Any upcoming santapod events? japshow finale?
Maybe some more northern events to capture Scotland and Tyneside way members? (Gav/Neil)

Also keen for some FDOC piss ups, maybe a camping event, Xmas do?

I can do a day at donington depending on club interest, not fussed if its trax or Japfest

The last Trax I went to at silverstone they put the FD stand opposite the Citroen C2 stand - which my brother corrected me to C1... GAAAAAAAYYY

Then some tool was revving his pink C1/2/3 (??) to make it pop all fucking morning, in a pink t-shirt... GAAAAAAAYYY

so maybe japfest would be a better bet? at least no chavs in fiestas/audis/french cars.

I went to Japfest there last year and they put us next to a vibe sub demonstration which was mega annoying, the cars on display were ok though! I do have more of an interest in Japanese cars over Citroen c1/2/3/4/5/6's though

So checked for donnington japfest and says club booking has closed, so emailed them asking if its still alright to arrange

Could probably get this sorted too at santa pod: http://www.japshowfinale.co.uk/index.php

And maybe an xmas do early in dec or late nov somewhere central so that we can get big attendance (this was a good do last time over on the dark side) - does anyone work or own a pub somewhere?

Mate I've been trying to sort it. They're making it way complicated, I need to ring them (again) as they've given my two completely different methods of booking.
I rarely get time to call during working hours though

I went to Trax at Silverstone with MRC some years ago...similar experience to the above...never again.

I'm up for Japfest Silverstone 2019 assuming there is one.
