Water in rear passenger seat

I recently took out the rear seats, and the metal supports inside the foam were really rusty, and I think I found out why.
With the last bit of rain there was a puddle in the bottom of the 'bucket' where the passenger side back seat would be.
I can't really work out where there water would be coming from though.
Anyone have any thoughts where it might get in?

I had the same issue recently, turned out these clips were old and worn and let water into my boot and all inside down to the seat.

Replaced with the clips in that link i just sent and now no more leaking inside

Ohh, that's interesting, I know those bits of trim aren't great, but didn't think it could be that because the boot itself isn't noticeably wet, but I guess if the water's going behind the side trim it would happen. I guess I've got a direction to head, and some parts to buy, cheers :D

The little clips have rubber pads under them which breakdown over time, then it drips through to the boot area and travels down the wireing into the seat area, its all hidden behind the plastic side panels , as my boot floor wasnt wet either, literally just the passenger rear seat area got wet.

This was my issue hopefully its this simple for you too 👍
