Going single, but have i made the right choice in parts to get me there...

what do you single turbo guys do with the wastegate exhaust? Leave it to atmosphere or pipe it back in ? Im guessing open its very loud ? And does it sound odd ?

Also parts are arriving :D Have my fueling bits just need to work out connectors i need from placement of FPR etc. Bought an AEM smart coil kit. Still waiting on the turbo seems the exhaust housing went out of stock from me waiting around too long :cautious:.

Might have to actually update my build thread at some point.
Open wastegates sound amazing, for about 20 mins. Then you will want to plumb it back into the exhaust as they are loud and get annoying

Haha this is exactly what i was thinking. im guessing open would not be track noise friendly either.
No, it won't. And to be honest an open dump is the most annoying shit ever when driving it. It's loud as shit and gets old fast.

Connectors are the expensive part... Fpr can be mounted where the old map sensor was, that way you can pipe under the UIM easily and it's pretty much directly above the hard lines.

Ahh thats a not a bad place to mount it. ive seen a couple of builds with it roughly where the vac tank used to be aswell. But prefer it out the way really as above.

I did notice looking yesterday ! £30 for a single AN6 connector... ouch

Guessing the MAP sensor will be staying at the moment ? Havent looked at any boost control yet. Can the PFC do any of that with a solenoid?

Where you buying the AN6 connectors from? seems like you're paying some serious tax for a particular brand perhaps?

With regards to your fuel system my 2cents would be to replace the stock fuel filter with an an6 inline fuel filter with at least a 100 micron stainless steel filter (some will argue a 30 micron filter is even better). To prevent any further heartache when it comes to mapping your car, best to get the primaries flow tested and if they are fine keep them if not than replace them! I would recommend to upgrade the secondaries to the newer ANSU 1500cc or 1650cc secondary injectors with the 30* atomization plate for better fuel atomization and delivery.

If you are planning to run over 1.15 bar of boost? than yes you will need a 3 bar map sensor as the stock one wont read past ~1.15-1.2bar. I believe a pfc can control boost via a solenoid but not many people know how to do this or map it accurately to ensure there is no boost creep so another easy option is to run an electronic boost controller like an apexi avcr etc.

Nothing overly fancy. Just on SpeedFlows website. there are cheaper ones depends on what degree of fitting etc etc etc basic straight is £9 but a 180 degree is £28 so depends on where i locate it as to what i need.

cheers mate. will look into it.

Almost more worthwhile upgrading to LinkG4 instead of buying extra boost controllers etc etc hmmm....

Ahh i see thy look like full flow lines. Probably worth having a closer look at these too.

No worries dude. One less headache to worry about when it comes time to map your car.

Its a no brainer, a modern ecu will be much better and provide more resolution when it comes time to tune your car. Plus you can wire in all your sensors and have it display via a tablet instead of having multiple gauges inside the car. The pfc will work just fine too but a newer ecu is probably the order of the day.

I've got a link g4plus and would def recommend it, You will still get 3-400quid for your pfc...which will offset the cost of the newer ecu.

Oh hello there pleasant surprise ! Was expecting this in Feb! 😀

Sweet dude!

P.s. I ended up going for the S257. It's the biggest of the S200sxe range and is rated to from 300-600 bhp at the flywheel. Chose the 1.00 hot side. (this is near enough the same size wheels as a EFR 7670 but journal bearing.)

Nice, that’s what I meant to buy, got confused and ended up with the 362sxe..

These guys have all the connectors and hose, filters etc you’ll need >>> https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/torquesuk

Also take a look and Ecu Master black, they are very well priced and do everything you need.
These guys can sort you out

Cheers for the info will take a ganders.
Next hiccup is where can I find injector sleeves in the uk without ordering from the states again ?

Full function rail (the box shaped one not the slim one). Top is fine it’s just seating in the lim. I have found some but they are in the states. Which is annoying as I ordered from them last week and could have saved postage.
