Our FD has a painted intake manifold, throttle body and intake pipe. We want to remove the paint and go back to the original clean finish. Can we remove the painted items and have them sandblasted to remove the paint and bring the items back to their former glory? We were prefer the original clean finish.

Happy to hear alternatives to removing the paint and cleaning the items. Soda Blasting etc???

Thanks.

Vapour blasted mine as have a few others on here. Wouldn’t recommend sand as it’s a nightmare to get it all out afterwards and you run the risk of sandblasting your engine when you refit it all

With vapour just make sure you clear it out with an air line after as small bits of media will be left behind. Vapour is the way to go.
