Full respray recommendations - West mids/ Warwickshire ish!

Hi,

As above really,

Looking to have full exterior and door shuts done. So far I've been quoted 3.5k and 9k. I have budgeted for around 5k, is that realistic?

I'm looking to sell up after it's done, so don't want to go OTT, but do want to make sure it's done properly and that the car is in mint condition to sell.

I know a few places around Dudley / Birmingham. But neither would be able tk get you in anytime soon. Your budget seems realistic, just depends on if they find extra bits that need doing.

Same as Neil, just had mine done by TJR, full kit fitting and respray. Very reasonable and top quality.

Aye its now back with me scheduled to go back to dynotorque to get running on the 17th , so late april i should be mobile.....

I'm at my mate place everyday, they get some horrors in at times, look ok till the trim is off and sanding starts.

Very true, I'm hoping theyre small anyway. Body wise it's solid, had a good look underneath and have stripped most of the car. The bits are mostly where there is damage from the old body kit. Rivet holes and filled spoiler holes etc, so most of them I've been able to look at from both sides of the panel and see that theres only a bit of surface corrosion on the bare metal edges of the holes/ not spread to the face surface yet.
The only other bits are on the surface panel just behind each rear wheel, but the quotes I have had so far have included this and said it's pretty minor (Obviously potential to grow, but seem OK at first inspection!)

Seeing your steering wheel and boss set up made me realise how tacky mine looks though, so there's another few $$$ I'll be spending in the near future
