2nd Annual FDOC Dyno Day Shootout at JamSport in Northampton (2 Lower Farm Rd, Northampton NN3 6XF).

Same setup as last year. We are seeking up to 15 cars to make the economics work.

Run What Ya Brung dyno shootout format. 3 runs per car. No data logging by the dyno operator. If we notice something not right with the car before or as it is put on the rollers it won't be run regardless of what you want.

Any mapping agreed with Stu and Jaydee before the event will occur after the shootout at the end of the day, and logging will be used for those cars being dialed in. It should be noted that this is a separate bilateral charge to Stu and Jaydee for mapping and is not officially part of the shootout.

Pricing will be similar to last year. £40 per person if we get close to 15 people and a £20 deposit to secure your spot in the shootout that is refundable up until one week prior to the event.

Pay your deposits at the below PayPal Money Pool link:

Total Deposits to Date: 3

I doubt my car will be rebuilt, tuned and covered its run in miles in time. But if it is...I'll be there with the new set up .

If not I may pop up in the daily to be social :D.

I could be tempted with this. Would like to know how little I have compared to the big dogs

Has the location for this been set or still TBC?

TBC but we like using Jamsport in Northampton because it's not that far north for people in and around London and also gives a chance for people with further drives from the North an ability to make it.

We may consider another destination nation depending on the make-up of the attendees but we know a guy who has access to the Jamsport Dyno so....

You could always get a group together to stay over the night before and have some social time over dinner and beer in the way we did the night before Snetterton a couple days ago.

I’m pretty sure we can bring 2 FD Rx-7s to participate. It’s only about an 1 hour drive for me and a buddy. Count us in!

Yeah for a track day, that’s cool. Bit excessive for a dyno day for me.

If your happy to though, makes having it more southern easier.

Surrey rolling road is a good location for most in the south but there are others more West Country and more north like Craig at TGS.

With members all of the country and afar, it would make sense to vary locations so that everyone can get involved at some point rather than just the same few getting to benefit from being within a sensible distance.

Dude jamsport is 2 hours away from you. It's 2 and a half from me.

We can't have FD days all within an hour of each other as there just isn't enough owners. Unfortunately people gotta travel.

This isn’t about having a dyno day within an hour of me, srr isn’t within an hour.

What about the guys in Devon & Cornwall or the guys who are further north?

I’m saying there should be more variety on locations.

And judging by the Facebook pole I’m not the only one.

There is always gonna be people that get screwed on location. I say bring it more northern! All the best cars are up here anyway. :)
