FDOC fundraising - closes on 7s Day 2019

Not a fan of member sites, non member sites are much more inclusive.
Matt's put a lot of his own money in to set the club up so now I've finally helped out!

Any excess funds will be put back into the club and be transparent, unlike the old days of FDUK!
 
Donated, even though its kind of to myself 🤣 i'M always happy to put the time and money into the club where needed and really appreciate everyone helping out.

Even if there were no donations/membership I'd always continue to cover the essentials such as hosting.
 
No member fee's needed, please do not turn this into another GTROC / MLR / MRC - If anything collect fee's from your traders, or charge a small fee to those on here who sell a lot (trader, but not a trader). I can't believe the costs are that much for a free opensource platform, hosting isn't that expensive either.

If this is indeed run by TGS then all off the costs can be written off through the company as an expense to the business.

  • I don't plan on putting the site behind a pay wall
  • It's not an opensource platform - its actually a paid platform with full wordpress integration for the front end! If you asked a webdev company to replicate this site for £400 they would laugh you out of the building
  • Hosting is not a major expense but its a recurring one - we're not on some shit free host, we host all our own images and use a paid google service for email to avoid spam blocks
  • Site is not run by TGS

Donated, look like we're almost near the target :D

I joined the old forum when i first got my FD back 3 years ago, shortly after the old forum went downhill and had next to no social gatherings, including one where i was the only FD on stand.

Im grateful for this platform and i think the fd community has never been more active (in my experience), keep up the great work guys!

I was gonna gamble the excess on the Champions League final to try to increase site funds! Jokes.
