I've done a quick photoshop, what do people think refurb or enkeis? eagle eyed viewers may also be able to spot something not quite right? lol

If your only alternative to standard is the RPF1's then i voted oem. I personally just cant get away with those enkei's when there are so many nice wheels around. Save your hard earned and spend it on fuel and trackdays.

I think they bith look good. Even with the golf gti calipers front and rear...

Stocks for me. I'm 50/50 on rpf1 on the fd. I think you have to have the car slammed and perfect fitment or they look cack.

Enkeis look good if you go for 9” or wider for the concave, less than that and the look a bit shit

Im open to suggestions. Only stipulations are must be 17" and extremely lightweight.

Haha used to be an escalade down town with 20 inch chrome spinner back in the day! We used to think it was awesome when it actually looked like a shiny snow plough 😂

Yeah I won't be changing wheel size. I prefer a smaller wheel.
The stock are better than most (Porsche's have the best imo), but only the Spirit R mesh come close to looking special, with after markets going all the way. Enkeis +1

If the O.E wheels were a little more aggressively sized then I'd still have mine on, they are too shallow in the arches. Obviously you could use some hubcentric spacers to widen the track a little and push the wheel out more, but ultimately they will still be quite skinny wheels. I'd love to find a perfect match for the O.E design in wider wheels as they are the perfect 90's wheel IMO for the FD.

There are plenty of nicer alternatives to the enkies. I've got some MS01s for example!

If the stock wheels where 17x9s then you'd be laughing

I think im gonna try the stock wheels with some nice grippy tyres.
