Wider RZ rims

Actually quite like that but I hate the centre cap and no way you would get true JDM cred of Advans or Works.

Look nice, although agree with Roy on the centre caps. Interesting that they decided to design with a square 255 setup in mind....

Who is actually making the wheels? I doubt SBG are doing it in house.

I'd be reluctant to spend any money let alone $2k on knock off wheels without any info of the manufacturing. For all you know SBG could have made them on a 3D printer!
Don't see the issue with saying 'these are made in for us exclusively by xxx'

'We're contractually obligated to keep the design/manufacturing company private'

Sounds alot like 'we didn't design them so we dont want our name on them incase they break.'

It does a bit. Not sure if you can really have a warranty on wheels, given the kind of abuse that they could be subject to. I would however take some reassurance from the following:

"These wheels are being manufactured to DOT / SAE and JWL / VIA standards, as well as being submitted for impact testing, and drum force durability testing. With the manufacturer we are working with, we're in VERY good hands. We would not stand behind this wheel with any less confidence in the state of the art engineering and manufacturing processes being used! "

Not that I have $2k plus shipping and inevitable taxes to spunk on these anyway.....

I guess the only difference would be the future testing.

An OEM manufacturer might insist on testing every 100 wheels for example to ensure nothing has changed over time.

I doubt very much that the quality is any worse than the majority of replica wheels on the market and if they are indeed forged wheels anyway then they will only be stronger.

That's probably true innit.

The price with import fee's is just too much. You can get some quality alloys for that price!

What a massive waste of money. Here is £££££££ for some replica wheels... 🤨

Not really replicas. They're offering you OEM look with good firment and specs, something there is quite a demand for. Personally, I think it's a good product and I'd happily pay the asking price :D. Or just find some BBS RG-R's in the right specs . Got to love Heath and Dan's work though. They make some quality FD products .
