how do I go about changing mine while the motor is in the car?

Its not too bad to do at all. All underneath work

Jack up on stands
Jack (with a block) the engine up a touch to take the load off.
undo the the bolts that attach the arms to the engine
undo the bolts that holds the mount

sounds too easy lol

I have a lift in my garage so shouldnt be too much problem

I hear something about ruining the seal around the sump?

What mounts to do fit in replacement?

I used the poly landrover ones nas recommended. They are very good

I shelled out for the vibratechnic ones but they were defective (lots of play) and the company didn't honour it.

If memory serves i think i jacked up from the gearbox bellhousing. The whole thing took less time than it took for my cup of tea to get cold.

Something i noticed. If going single then you might need to think of some kind of heat shielding as the downpipe will be right there melting it
