Sunvisor Plastic Barrels

Hey chaps,

Haven't seen to have found any threads about this but, while perusing the little things I want to remedy on the 7 I found these....

FD RX7's and other cars sometimes experience issues with the original sunvisor barrels, where there split in half. When this happens, the sunvisor is no longer able to stay secure to the retaining clip on the roof liner. This is an older product formerly offered but no longer on the market...

100% ideal as both of mine are either gone, or split so bad they don't work.

Unfortunately for a $12 package the cheapest delivery seems to be up at $62, which for something thats barely the size of my little finger seems a little bonkers. Does anyone do them in the UK?

If anyone searches for this and wants a bit of an engineering workaround this is what I did.

I purchased some of this https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0B15NPKJD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If that link decides to break, 6mm internal diameter, 2.5mm wall thickness black silicone vaccum hose. Cut it to 34mm and slice down the length of it. Slide over sunvisor barrel and hey presto. Sunvisor clips in nicely, and swivels.

After fitting, I didn't have any to hand but you can always pop a few drops of superglue into the slice just to secure it.
